I think they were used on 1958-59 chrysler imperials. Going to mount it in engine bay before the dual quads. Here is a filter element.

I'll check the Imperials I have, but still,I don't recall seeing these.

Mark, that last post is the oil filters that were used on most Chrysler products until replaceable cartridge took completely over in 1960.

That's what I thought as well, until I read the box. I found the same kind of oil filter on the engine that came with the Swiss Fury...
