  1. No Rob.

That guy's accent is from the north of England.... probably Bolton from what I can tell, but I think the Movie was set in the Midlands E.G. Birmingham or Nottingham.

I know of the film but have yet to see it.

It's based in the early 1970s when the Skinhead youth culture was in it's infancy..... just before the Skinhead movement was hijacked by Neo-Nazis.

I won't rush out to buy it but if it's ever on TV I might tune in.

This slightly boring movie shows a car journey starting from Kelvedon Station and actually ends up in the Playground of my son's school (for some reason).

Starting from 14:30 minutes, it passes through the centre of my Village, Tiptree, the largest Village in England (so I'm told).

I'm up for a pair mate. I used a pair of Doc Martens for about a year one time in the masonry business. Hard to make boots last that long in this biz.

Cheers, how is lil Doobs and your family? You have another bundle of joy, correct?
  5. D.M. Boots are a UK brand Rob.... excellent boots but they do need breaking in a little.

I've owned several pairs over the years, but they're not cheap.

There's a great D.M. shop in Covent Graden in London that I have a nose around when I go up there.

Are you after a pair mate?

Dr. Martens Oxfords, I assume are still made in the UK. Is the quality very good these days?
  7. I'll do my best to persuade them not to mate.

There's a good bunch of guys (and a few girls) here.
I can't keep up with all the stuff that's posted.
Most messages you write will always get an answer.
We are a Christine fan club but only in name.
We're more of a car club, it's just that we all enjoyed the film Christine, other people that liked it seem to be of similar mind and eventually find us online.

Have fun mate, there's plenty of reading to be done.

    All the best.

    Lee.
