My favorite German beer while my wife and I were over there was Lowenbrau Dunkle.
That stuff is the chit....bad news we can't get it here in the USA....

Too bad it's not allowed to send alcohol in the mail to the USA. I would gladly send you some german beer, we even have some small, local breweries here...stuff you probably never heard off!

micro breweries are the biz......we have a few local ones, i much prefer some of the brews they produce compared to the mass produced stuff.

I recently went down to our WA wine region,(3 hours south) they have had an in rush of micro breweries in recent years.

This is one of the old favourites

Build it yourself, then at least you know it will be right.

Last I heard from the buyer was about three years ago, he sent us a goodie box for Christmas, consisting of baked goods from his bakery, and german chocolates.

Hopefully he's still doing well. He still had the Plaza at that time.
