An accident in the initial stages almost killed D. Taylor whilst he was making a start on the building of this Christine and left the car looking a mess.

Depsite this serious set back, D.T. recovered from the pneumonia the flames caused after burning his lungs and rebuilt his workshop.

Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, incrediblyD.T. managed to rescue the car and in testament to his ability and skill, here she was a month or two back:

Well the project is now coming to a close with D.T.'s wife putting her hands to the headliner and sound system parts currently winding their way to Tennessee to 'D.T. s car restoration business, Plymouth Rock, here's how the interior stands, special thanks to John yet again for assisting to provide interior parts to help complete the inside to make her a very close copy of the interior of the movie car.

It won't be long now, I'll keep this thread updated.

She also has a few special bits, original rare Fury items, I'll ask D.T. to re-post the message detailing all her Specifications.

There are only a couple of cars surviving from the movie that can be accurately called Christine.

This car isn't Christine, but she is a close enough copy of the car that I fell in love with for me to be on cloud nine at the moment.
I'm lucky enough to be able to call her Doobster's Christine, built at Plymouth Rock.

Her she is with her sister:

Mat, that's taking pride of place on the wall next to my cast signed die cast Christine model.

Some of those pictures have been posted on the members area for a while, I thought it was about time they were included in this section too.

$$$$$$ will be best to Give you the Details, But from memory, Lee,s Plymouth Back Fired and there was some Flammables close by that Ignited. The rest as they say is History and the Birth of " Plymouth Rock "

Lees car reenacted the gas station scene from the Movie, D.T. was a lucky bitch he didnt get too hurt. It was a freak accident.

Yep, Lee's car got burnt up, D.T.'s car got burnt up, and D.T. got burnt up too. If D.T. hadn't reacted as quickly as he did and hook up to Lee's car and snatch it out, that car would have been history.

If the fire never happened, Lee's car would have been in the UK a year ago.
