Yup, Christine belched and $$$$$$ thinks a bucket of thinners went up.

He threw on a heavy coat and ran into his shop, threw a chain around the bumper and towed her out whilst she was still in flames.

He ended up with damaged lungs and some burns but has recovered thankfully.

At first we were looking for another car... but on closer investigation $$$$$$ realised that she was still salavagable and as a rust free car, worthwhile giving her another chance.

About a month I think Larry.
Then I'll need to get her registered, taxed and MOTed (roadworthy test etc).

I've never done it before, I hope it won't take too long.

I've got an MOT tester sympathetic to Classic US cars I think, tax shouldn't be a problem but I need to find out where I need to get her registered and how to do it.

But I'm not in a rush, there's plenty of others shows and I don't want to take the edge off of the excitment and fun by busting my balls getting her sorted in time for Americana.

There's always next year and plenty of other local shows to debut her at.
    Everything's good!

You're always thinking ahead Lee. That's because you were born in July. People born in July are smarter than the other months.

I saw her last year Earl..... I couldn't quite take it all in.

She was so gorgeous at that time.... it just didn't sink in that she was actually mine.

Maybe the beer helped that feeling too. LOL.

Yea, I got picky and re-sprayed a lower quarter and front lower valence section because it didn't suit me. Sorry for the extra time in but there was a couple spots that bothered me.

This thread is worthless until I see pics of Lee unloading it on the other side of the pond or $$$$$$ setting himself on fire.

Do not persist in your disbelief Ray, but believe there is a picture coming soon of Lee's car.
Think outside the box. Use your imagination.
