She sounds and looks lovely Dean. Indeed, finally Lee can put this part of his life to bed. Yeah, mate?

Yes, this time Lee can finally use his car. Ive given her another drive around this afternoon, come back to the workshop, changed the oil/filter again, 1st time was after 20mins cam break in. The filter was lovely and clean, as was the first one so all good there. The Mopar/GM hei ignition conversion is a real improvement, the video of the car firing up and backing out the workshop was a genuine first start of the day!!!
Thats Awesome, sounds fantastic. Now there will be no holding you back from getting out in her!!!
Nice to read something good happening with Lee. Norman, good to see you're back.

Good news Dean and Lee, It'll be great to see you at a car show with it Lee..
Are you having car shows over there? We are finally allowed them here.....
I haven't seen any shows advertised John.
Christine is back and in my garage.
I've driven her a few times, she's drives beautifully.
Only the paint work lets her down, the paint has reacted in several places and bubbled quite badly.
It'll be a few years before I can get the money together for that though.
I'll post some pictures etc. soon.
Everything's good!
Please post those photos when time allows mate. Perhaps another video would be in order?

Will do mate.
I had to have my garage extended a few years ago to get Christine in.
She's right up to the garage door which means some small droplets of rain might have sat on the bumper.
I was sad to see some very small signs of tiny specs of surface rust on the bumper.
I've covered the front of the car with some Mexican blankets I have and will do some extensive polishing when the weather warms up.
I took her for a drive around the block last week and she drove a treat, I accidently pull a wheel spin pulling away too, she's got a lot more power now.
I'll start a new thread about winter care too, it's getting chilly here now.
Everything's good!
Polish the bumpers, and put a coat of car wax on to help prevent the surface rust from starting.

LEEEEE!!! NO, NOT MEXICAN BLANKETS!!! THEY ARE ABSORBANT. That will hold moisture and condensation against your paint and encourage the bubbling, which is micro-pores in the paint allowing moisture to get behind the top surface. When the car is in the sun the bubbling will receed. Don't put anything over it touching the paint. Put a sheet of visqueen up in front of the car as a barrier behind the garage door, but let air flow over the painted surfaces.
Captain Keep-On-Thread strikes again!!!
Did you ever think that Lee is perhaps a Mexican leading an Englishman's life Geoff?![]()

Gracias hombre!
Everything's good!
Lee....do you still want that GE headlight?
Captain Keep-On-Thread strikes again!!!
I'd love it please Geoff.
Can I give you something for it?
I'll drop you a PM.
Thanks for the tips too.
I polished up Christine's bumper over the weekend after taking her out for a quick spin.
I was very pleased to see that despite the tiny specs of surface rust I saw on the bumper, it seems to be polishing out well.
I left the bumper covered in a wax sheen to protect it over the winter.
I was also "made up" because I thought a very small stone chip had appeared on the front bumper a couple of years ago.
I was extremely happy to see that it wasn't a chip after all and disappeared with some more vigorous polishing.
I took a short video on my IPhone.
Normally to download video to YouTube I'd have to download them onto my laptop first.
I tried to see if there was a quicker way on my IPhone but couldn't..... can video be directly uploaded to YouTube from your phone?
Thanks again Geoff and everyone!
Lee.
Everything's good!
Lee, have you any updated pictures or videos? I am curious.
Go outside and enjoy life.
I have Eddie... I was just wondering if I could upload video directly from my phone to YouTube etc.
This is my company Laptop and they stick lots of barriers in the way of me downloading or uploading images etc.
If there's no way of doing it I'll try and use another Laptop when I get chance.
Everything's good!
