Yes I am a very lucky and proud owner of this beautiful 1958 PLYMOUTH BELVEDERE 4 DOOR PILLARLESS SPORTS SEDAN!!

    She's from Sacramento California.
1 owner from 1958 till 1984 when the owner passed away, she was garaged for quite some time after his passing.
Shipped to Australia in 2010 and resprayed.
Yes shes in the original colour....Metallic Coral.

Shes a very clean original, unmolested car, a dream come true.... still has the plastic on the seats!!
Only needing slight cosmetic work / clean up, but shes all there.... the best thing is shes only done just over 37000 miles!!

I took her to her first car show yesterday, drove for an hour or so there and back down the open highway, she runs and drives like a dream!!
Most of these pics where taken at the show!

Thanks for the feedback guys, ill post others i have also soon....Cheers!!

Just plain gorgeous. What a car! I wouldn't change a thing. Although, I would be really tempted to put some bumper wings on her, but not sure. She sure is beautiful as is.

    REAR BRAKE DRUM REMOVAL HELL!!
    Need sum serious help guys!!
I am trying to remove the rear brake drums on my 58 Plymouth to check the condition of everything under there but I CAN NOT get them off no matter what i try!!??
I bought a brake drum puller and still nothing, just ended up slightly damaging the end of the axel shaft!!

THESE DRUMS JUST WILL NOT BUDGE!!

Can anyone make some suggestions as to how i can free them up and get them off??

    Thanks guys!!
No Shitter ever came between me and Christine!

That's prolly cause they haven't been off in a while. Try a slide hammer puller.

Big M has a pretty good write up about this in the brakes and suspension threads. Plenty of pictures too.

I spent 3 whole afternoons trying to get my drums off - hit them, pulled them, soaked in all kinds of fluids, made special tools...no movement at all. Toast the drums all round with a calor gas blow torch nice and gently. Drums are made to take loads of heat anyway. Then all of a sudden you will hear a clicking noise after about 10-20 mins heating and those babies will pop right off. They have probably binded to yhe hub ends with a light coat of corrosion.

Tapered axles, they are supposed to be tight.
