    1956 "Christine" Schwinn bicycle.

    Sadly we seem to have lost contact with one of our German members, "ColdDick".

    I enjoyed my chats with Olaf, he posted images of old Bicycles on our old forum and gave me the urge to buy a period Bicycle.

    $$$$$$ Taylor did me a big favour restoring this little number, I managed to give it a little pedal on my visit to Tennessee a few months back:

    I think we all were Eddie.
    The bike was a little scary being as $$$$$$'s driveway is on a hill and the brakes don't work.

    Can you tell me how many spoke holes there are on the existing one please mate.

    1956 is the first year for Schwinn Middleweight bikes that replaced Balloon tires.
