Thand clive! I feel part of the international family now! Haha
The damn rear brakes are next on the list. I cant even roll her off the trailer because they are ceased up so bad
Thanks for the tip john!!! I looked at a diffrent style but I like the one you posted better.
Anyone know where I can get rebuilt rear brake parts?
Check with BigM first....http://www.bigmauto.com/
Parts pop up on ebay or theres Kanter....https://www.kanter.com/index.aspx
Some rental shops have that puller, most others will break.
Marc, need you to clear some space so I can send a message. Brett
Well hello to you to CQB-241 haha
I got my ebay fender in today And it should work ok. I wish the dent in it was further away from the headlight area. I may take the entire fender and see if it would be better to fix the dent or cut my fender and weld on the front only.
Also got my second mirror and my hubcaps!! I'm getting excited to see all the pieces come in. They are not perfect but as this stuff is getting harder to find and more expensive... I'm just glad to have my hands on them!

its dented, , but surely the work to fix that would be so much less then cutting it and welding it back in........
Build it yourself, then at least you know it will be right.
I know that I could make that fender nice and straight with little to no filler. Cutting the front off the one and welding to the other does work, but it will take many more hours to do it properly. If you're not comfortable doing the bodywork, check with an old time bodyman, they should be able to repair that easily. If you were closer to me, I'd show you how to do it.

Hi Paul, trying to catch your fellow Texan. Brave project. Regards, Brett
Why does everyone tell me my project is "brave". Haha. Just because it's so much work? Or because the car seems to far gone?
All rusty Forward-Look rescues are brave.......
Paul your new finder looks nice. Every time I get a new part, I can't take my eyes off it for days. Mostly the shinny parts. It may be hard to build a big ole car but it can be very rewarding. This is my first and I get a lot of help from the club or could never do it.
Thanks chrissy! I need to spend more time on this site checking out the other builds on here!! I'm super excited to build this car. I know I can do it and I have the local resources for motor building and fabrication if I need it. Just need an endless bank account to get all the TRUE trim.....
And I'm not trying to take the damn parts off my couch. Hahaha
Not everyone has their own parts couch!
