Independence Day 2015 UK Eastcoast Meet

Attended a Local gathering for USA Independence day , There was going to be 3 Live Bands and a 100 cars, Weather all week leading up to it has been scorching here, But it bloody rained on the Day , several of us stayed regardless and it did dry out, and One Rockabilly band stayed , so a eventful wet day which eventually turned out ok,

A nice gathering of cars there Clive, including some quite unusual ones too. It just shows that events from different parts of the country often reveal cars that you wouldn't usually see at more local regional events.

I must admit, those old rods look quite enticing.....maybe I should ditch the 'Christine' replica and go for an Eliminator clone instead.

As for the 'patina' look......looks like rusty old crap to me - get 'em painted!

Steve, leave Clive alone....I actually wore my shorts in the garden this weekend. Fortunately there is no photographic evidence.

It was in Great Yarmouth Steve , only about 35 miles from me,

We had a week of around 35c during the Working week, Not hot for Other Countries, but here in the UK where it is Muggy its hot enough, Especially when i had a week of Welding , But typical come the weekend when we can actually enjoy the weather it decides to rain..

But that good ol English weather here, we get 4 weeks of Sun and the rest is winter..
