Claims This is an Original Christine Car

Does Anything else know anything on this car? Is this the heap that Arne bought at the beginning of the movie? Does Anyone know about anything on this particular car? This Guy is claiming a buddy of his owns an original film used Christine Car

i suspect it was never used in the movie......first thing that jumps out to me is the Belvedere badge on the fin....

none of the movie cars had badges on the fins..............

    Painted sporttone.......no inserts

I thought I read somewhere that the car used in the "for sale" scene was painted up after that shot and used on the movie where it was wrecked. I think it was the bulldozer scene but I can't be 100% that I did read that. I have many voices in my head.

I was going to say exactly the same as Steve.

I can see a script at the back but no cars had "Fury" scripts or otherwise on them in the movie.

Unless that was just used for front end shots.
    Everything's good!

There is an old video on YouTube that I have seen that the car in the video looks a lot more convincing that it is a movie car from the movie Christine in the scene where Arnie 1st found Christine and bought her.
I found the video again, so here it is:

I know the video is bad quality and I'm sorry about that...
But from what I do see of the video- it does look like this could be a real deal movie car from that scene in the movie. Or someone did one heck of a good job trying to make the car look like it was from that scene... What do you all think?

Ok, you are right. I looked it over more closely just now, and I do see those things that is different from the movie car... One of those things that makes me go, "Ah, shoot, why did I just say that/post that before getting all the details right!?"
More things I just noticed is the steering wheel isn't the "Deluxe" one like Christine's, and the grille doesn't have damage like Christine's did... Probably more things too... Like I said- I didn't get all the details right before posting that...
    Sorry about that...

Alright, happy to hear everything's all good... It just made me feel like a dummy after I wrote that then I look back upon the video and actually realize that it isn't the same movie car. Also considering that I remembered that there is ONLY 2 surviving actual movie cars left- Martin's and Bill's. I guess everyone makes mistakes sometime or another- so again, glad to hear everything's good...

Yes, it is great to see everyone's work on building these cars. And you are welcome for me posting it.

I wonder how many times someone has claimed they had an actual movie car.

This is from an article on the Forward Look site that shows some of the Christine wrecks, it looks like the "For sale" car went to the scrapper. Click image for larger version.

No movie car in the youtube video. I know the owner. Itīs Freddy from Belgium. He bought a project car some years ago and planned to make a movie Christine just like the Arnie / LeBay scene. He sold the car some months ago. Donīt know yet if the new owner wants to continue the rat look.

A lot more pics on FB.

So someone claims to have a genuine movie scene car yet still leaves it out in the long grass and bad weather?
