Glad you all enjoyed the photos and thanks for all your kind and funny comments. Unfortunately, the original 318 drivetrain has been removed. Under the hood is a Cheby 350. What do you think about that Idaho-Bob?!Did I make ya wince a little Bobby? Hopefully that makes you absolutely sure that I'm still alive!
Only kidding of course! Under the hood now is a 1964 318 4 bbl/727 trans, therefore car does not have a parking brake because Ma Mopar moved the tailshaft brake drum to the rear wheels in 63. I've been trying to figure out what to do to remedy this...go back closer to original or go forward to update everything. If I decide to go forward I've learned of a great kit (over at the FL) to shift a later non-cable operated 727. I'm considering this but still not sure yet. Non-original seat covers inside but original door panels. Car was light green originally. Anyways, thanks again all...and here are a few more pics.

Being a 1964, the transmission will have a 'park'; is this not sufficient in lieu of a parking brake?

The T-Handle at left of the headlight switch is to put the car in/out of Park. I'm concerned about making a panic stop if the brakes ever fail, especially with a single bowl Master Cylinder. The china plate sitting in the little black plastic console is of President Dwight Eisenhower and First Lady Mamie. I thought it'd be appropriate for the era.

The T handle in the dash seems like a good compromise since it's about where the overdrive lever would mount if so equipped, I originally thought there was something rigged below the dash for the park function.
