    1956 Ford Thunderbird

    Just arrived in the UK..

    1956 Ford Thunderbird,, Customer had it delivered to me direct from the UK Docks after arriving, This makes about the 12th project from USA this year, Looks rough but actually is really solid rust wise, Have a couple of small floor pan repairs and then just various pin hole body repairs, as well as going through brakes and checking suspension, then its off to paint.. My Customer Stole it for $5k. and yes it is totally complete along with Soft and Hard top and Conti Kit..

    Here are 4 quick PICs i remembered to take today, This is a fill in job and needs to be done in 2 weeks, As have 5 more cars on route from USA all needing done before end of the year, Including a late 70s Corvette, 69 Mustang Coupe, 69 Mustang Fastback Mach 1 , a mid 40s Hot Rod and a Mid 70s Camaro.. Will try to remember PICs as they arrive to share,, But my work is getting Manic at the moment..

    Was brought to me as a Non Runner and no brakes ..

    A New battery fitted and a few pumps of the Carb and she fired up , She smoked for a while on choke and stale gas but cleared after a few minutes , topped up the master cylinder and pumped the brake pedal and got brakes, so i can move it about the yard,, Tomorrow gonna pull all 4 wheels and drums to get the brakes cleaned and working correctly, check the suspension , and then tackle the welding one day next week, as need this gone ready for the 69 Mustang Fastback Mach One..

    Looks like a great project there.

    That car deserves a full tear down and complete restoration though.

    Yeah it certainly does.. But the Owner just wants me to repair the Rust so he can have it painted and road worthy for early next year , Bumpers i think are already at the Chrome shop..
    I would of done a full Restore had it been my Thunderbird

    Yeah, cool car! My little Tee-Bee is on the road for some weeks now. Lots of fun!
