    58-Centric parts to visually convert a 57 Plymouth to a 58

This is a list of parts that are needed to convert a ‘57 Plymouth to a ‘58, at least topically; I haven’t listed the obvious “Christine-centric” parts (like bumper wings, stone guards, dual antennas, Sport tone trim, white-over-red body color, etc.), as they are considered parts of “deluxe” versions of either the Belvedere or Fury packages in those years.

Certain trim items vary depending on the various models (standard vs. deluxe package) and can become a complicated mix-and-match of features on any given iteration of Plymouth, but this is a basic collection of ‘impact’ items which would instantly differentiate a ‘57 from a ‘58 to the moderately discerning eye (no matter the finish package)...as the general, undiscerning public tends to see any and all ‘57-’58 Plymmies as “Christine”.

    Front of car
    Front grille V
    Lower horizontal-slotted valance
    Dual headlight assemblies and trims
    Front fender top shark-fin spears
    Front hood “Plymouth” emblem
    Front fender-mounted side mirrors

    Interior
    Front-of-dash mounted rearview mirror

    Rear of car
Rear taillight assemblies and metal shrouds/reflectors
    “PLYMOUTH” trunk letters
Lower bumper reverse light drop panel

This list is by no means complete or all-encompassing, so if anyone here can add to the litany of distinctive items which would make a ‘57 appear to be a ‘58 to the average viewer, please feel free to add it here and I’ll update the list.
