I always thought it a bit humorous on Facebook when a post is made about some tragedy and it is "liked".
Example:

Post: "My uncle passed away this morning."

Reply: Fred likes this.

Andy it only took me about 1 minute to add the thumbs down emoji. took me about 2 minutes to search google for it ..
