    My old car

I went to our local "Back to the 50's" car show and came across my old 58 Belvedere! I sold it in the late 90's and have regretted doing so. The guy who bought it had a cheap paint job applied and also installed a 2x4 intake but little else had changed.

Well, at least you know the old girl is still alive and kicking.

I would be gutted to meet an old car of mine in someone else's hands, coz I fall in love with them all for life.

My daughter keeps track of every car we've ever sold, but I try not to pay much attention.

It has faired pretty well regardless of the cheap paint job it received,

Clearly seen the old Gold paint coming through where they didnt prep the body for the respray.. Still looks a solid motor though

Well now you have a nicer car champ. Perhaps this fella who bought your old ride will get tired of it and sell it back to you? Ya never know.

Yeah I really love having my 2 door HT but my sedan was a much more solid car. My 57 has a lot of body filler, damaged stainless trim etc. and I really didn't appreciate at the time just how good of condition the 58 was in but it was a sedan and I really wanted a coupe. If only I had known just how hard they were to find, my decision to sell would have been different.

Me too, I don't understand when some people sell something that they've put a lot of work into and say they they don't care what happens to it once they've got their money. Money isn't everything and my Plymouths mean a lot to me.

That's cool! Once you sell a car, it's rare to ever see it again. Of course in the computer age, it has changed some.

I always wondered if it was still around, it's nice to get an answer!
